The editors of 1UP.com, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Computer Gaming World, and Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine have placed their votes for the best games at the2006 E3 show. Surprisingly, they Mass Effect beat out Gears of War in the Xbox 360 catagory. Mass Effect is a sci-fi RPG produced by Bioware. On the PC side, Quake Wars was a winner. The last few Quake games didn't thrill me, but this one has my attention. It's a team-based online multi-player game that looks fantastic.
